Vivek Pandey started his formal education at DIKSHA at the age of ten in 2010. A quiet boy from the village joined Class 3 students and put his head down to study. Vivek was quick on the uptake and caught up with the others to come up to the class standard. An age class parity policy along with his academic acumen earned him two double promotions in subsequent classes. In middle school, Vivek developed an aptitude towards Computer Science. He was called upon by the teachers if any help was required in Computer skills. A volunteer who taught hardware to students, identified his skills and helped him expand his horizon. Vivek shed his mantle of shyness and wanted to shine in other fields too. He showed an interest in theatre and bagged lead roles in School concerts where he was lauded for his acting prowess. Vivek assisted School productions and arranged in compiling and managing music and sound effects in these shows. He maintained computers in the School Computer Lab. Vivek’s computer skills earned him a summer apprenticeship in 2016 at PHFI (Public Health Foundation of India) where he was the sought-after troubleshooter for about 1500 employees. He also was employed full time in the summer of 2018 by Alphabytes for graphic designing projects After passing his 12th Board examinations in the first division, Vivek is now pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree at St Andrews Institute For Technology And Management with special interest in Ethical Hacking. He has recently revised and edited the School website and shown an attitude of gratitude towards his Alma Mater. We are proud of his achievements and personal development. We wish this responsible, hardworking and earnest young man a very bright future!
